Practising what we preach

We are so busy helping clients that we are guilty of neglecting our own marketing. I'm so pleased that we finally found time to update our website in time for Blueberry's fifth anniversary.

As a start up, funds were tight but investing in a professional corporate identity was money very well spent and I advise anyone considering launching a company that image is everything.

Our original website has also served us well and only cost a few hundred pounds to build. The design was made easy thanks to our investment in a corporate identity, which was created by the brilliant Richard Wolfstrome of Wolfstrome Design. But our site had a very basic content management system which gave us very little flexibility.

It was also time for a change because during the five years we've been in business, our company has changed to meet customers' needs and priorities. For instance, SEO is now at the heart of what we do. Yes, press coverage is great but coverage with a link in say the Daily Mirror is very valuable in terms of SEO.

PR has also become as much about generating great content that can be used across a range of channels including social media and making sure all PR and marketing is integrated.

Let us know what you think of the new site - honest feedback is really important to us.
